The top FEC in the world is Wild Island Coconut Bowl at Sparks, Nevada, winner of this year’s IAAPA Brass Rings Award, announced overnight in Orlando, during the annual trade show.
Among other winners of the prestigious awards - most of which relate to attractions in different formats - are Doha Quest in Qatar for the Best Employee Reward and Recognition Programme and DOF Robotics for its Digital Park Mission Space, in the Major Ride/Attraction Cost $2-$5m.
Zamperla won the Family Ride/Attraction category for its Big WaveZ and the top award for Games and Devices went to Coastal Amusements with Break the Plate with UNIS technology second for its Wicked Tuna four-player.
In the section for Virtual and Augmented Reality, Valo Motion won the Brass Rings Award for its ValoArena, with Creative Works second with its Limitless VR.
Semnox got a runner-up award for its LuminOS debit card reader in the Services, Equipment and Supplies section.
Among the Best Exhibit Awards was Apple Industries for its booth in the 1,201 and larger exhibit, followed by Coastal Amusements.
