The Netherlands’ largest theme park, Efteling, is expanding its hotel facilities with work beginning this week on the Efteling Grand Hotel.
A construction site has been set up behind the main entrance to the park, near Eindhoven, and it is expected that the new hotel will open in 2024.
The hotel is the first to be built in the park itself and its site is close to the House of the Five Senses that is the main entrance. A new Island of the Five Senses will act as the cover of a book, marking the beginning and end of visits to the park.
