Wicksteed Park, near Kettering in Northamptonshire, UK, has installed a new attraction, a 25m Ferris Wheel.
Named the Garden Wheel, it will give views right across the park and into local landscapes. It follows a programme of innovation at the park, including the recently-opened Galaxy Invaders ride, the Meerkat Manor, Wicky Bear’s Theatre and Wicky’s Farmyard.
The wheel, says the Northamptonshire Telegraph, opened last weekend and will accommodate 72 guests at a time and the cost of rides is included in the park’s entry wristband. It has 18 gondolas.
