Westport House is a historic building dating 400 years old with family heritage ties to the pirate chieftain Grace O’Malley. The theme park was deeply inspired by this connection, with an emphasis on pirate and water-based activities.

Stated to be the “full pirate adventure experience,” the site hosts many attractions such as a log flume, rocking pirate ship, swan pedal boats, pirate plunge, mini Ferris wheel and nine-hole frisbee and foot golf.

The building and park can be viewed from a miniature railway on the site. There is also an on-site café with nearby restaurants and a leisure centre, in which discounts are applicable with a ticket to the house.

There has also been a gaming zone built, featuring an interactive wall designed for both solo and group play, available to all ages. Other activities include a house tour, den building, a climbing wall and aeroball.
