First Minister Mark Drakeford told a press conference that camping sites and hotels can open, as well as underground attractions, the last parts of visitor attractions in Wales to reopen. Cinemas and amusement arcades are among other businesses in the last phased reopening of the Welsh hospitality, leisure and retail sectors.

Said Drakeford: “As more places start to reopen, we must geet used to some changes to help protect ourselves and the people working in these businesses. This may mean having to book ahead or giving our details to the places we are visitors, to help our Test Trace Protect service, in the event that there is an outbreak of coronavirus. The virus has not gone away. But if we all work together we can keep Wales safe.”

The next formal review of the regulations in Wales will be announced by July 30, when the Welsh Government, the Senedd Cymru, will consider a range of options, including the possibility of opening bars, pubs, cafes and restaurants indoors.
