Valo Motion, the Finnish provider of unattended mixed-reality attractions for location-based entertainment, has installed its 100th ValoArena, at Andretti Indoor Karting & Games’ Katy, Texas, US, location.

Valo Motion installs 100th ValoArena

The 100th ValoArena was purchased last year from the IAAPA Expo 2024 showfloor by Andretti’s managing partner, Eddie Hamann, who earmarked the attraction for the brand’s Katy location.

“Valo Motion is excited about this milestone, because it indicates that we have been able to develop a product that operators feel confident in, because they are adding ValoArena to their entertainment offerings”, said Dr Raine Kajastila, CEO and founder of Valo Motion.

“We are thrilled that ValoArena is performing so well and that it fits into a range of locations and business models.”

Of the 100 ValoArenas installed internationally, Germany has the highest concentration, with 27 units. Within the US, 23 ValoArenas have now been installed, including at well-known FECs like Five Star Parks and RPM Raceway, and active indoor entertainment brands like Bir Air and Elevate Trampoline Parks.

ValoArena first debuted to the amusement market in 2022 and won a Brass Ring Award at IAAPA Expo in the category of Best New Product Virtual and Augmented Reality.
