A US$400m waterpark resort is set to open in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, US, next spring.
The Chickasaw Nation’s OKANA Resort & Indoor Waterpark will have a fly pool with a zipline, as well as slides, a beach and more. Set to open on April 1, 2025, the resort will be located along the Oklahoma river, and it will also have gallery spaces featuring art by native artists.
The resort will have over 400 rooms, as well as a 100,000sq.ft indoor waterpark with a wave pool, lazy river, cabanas, an adults-only pool and a kid’s pool. The indoor park will have 15 water slides, including body slides, tube slides, raft slides, as well as some smaller ones for little kids.
Outdoors, a 4.5 acre adventure lagoon will have additional slides, plus an inflatable obstacle course and the aforemention fly pool that has a zip line above it so you can glide above the water and drop into the pool.
