The Flying Scotsman Virtual Reality Experience has opened at the National Railway Museum in the city of York, England.
Digital media production company Figment Productions created the new experience for the museum, which, as the York Press puts it, brings "the golden age of rail travel to life" for visitors to the attraction.
The new VR experience for the museum is not the only Flying Scotsman-related attraction on offer in celebration of the train's centenary year. The Flying Scotsman itself is currently on display at the museum, alongside a newly updated Flying Scotsman Story exhibition.
An exhibition called Flying Scotsman: 100 Years, 100 Voices is also available to view, compiling a collection of stories and perspectives about its colourful history.
