An authentic Viking settlement attraction has been given the go-ahead for the Isle of Man.

A viking settlement attraction is coming to the Isle of Man

Land in Sandygate will now be turned into a Norse village that will offer an interactive experience for guests to travel back in time and immerse themselves in the islands history.

It is the brainchild of Chris Hall, who has been working on the project for the past 10 years.

Plans include traditional buildings, barns and a temple. There will be battle re-enactments and a longhouse.

Members of the public now have until 25 July to oppose the plans.
