A new mini-golf attraction has opened at a plaza that honours veterans of the Vietnam War in Laredo, Texas, US.

The nine-hole course, which cost the city of Laredo US$90,000, took almost three years to plan and two months to build.
It’s hoped that the attraction will bring more families to the park, who will be able to learn about the conflict and those who lost their lives.
The course is painted blue and covered in fake grass, and is now open to families following a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Visitors with their own equipment can play for free, while a decision is yet to be taken on rental of balls and clubs, reports the Laredo Morning Times.
In addition to the golf course, the park also unveiled six spots for food trucks, which will offer F&B to visitors.
