A new 18-hole mini-golf course has opened at the Sherwood Forest Campground in Minnesota, US.

The private resort, which spans 400 acres, has over 800 private campsites that now have access to the new Adventure Golf and Sports modular course.

Campground manager, Andy Bober, stated that Sherwood Forest’s previous mini-golf course was installed over two decades ago and had needed an update. He said: “It’s one of those amenities where different generations can enjoy it.

“The old course was in pretty rough shape. It wasn’t built in the best location. They built it with wood on the ground and it ended up rotting and becoming a hazard.”

Nine of the holes are in line with ADA compliance, but the other nine feature more elevation changes, slopes and contours.

The mini-golf course joins several other amenities that Sherwood Forest provides its residents, including a half-sized basketball court, two pickleball courts, bocce ball, horseshoe pit and four pools.
