The River City Extreme bowling centre in Minneapolis, US, has chosen Brunswick’s Sync to upgrade its system.
The 32-lane centre recently considered several options, finally deciding on Brunswick’s Sync to improve cost-effectiveness and customer satisfaction. “We have locations running Brunswick Sync,” said John Foss, River City general manager.
“We’re familiar with the features and benefits of the system, along with the short and long-term cost savings. In our experience, Sync tends to be better for the business in terms of long-term costs, support and the quality and value of system.”
Bret Lingen, district manager of Anderson Companies, which owns River City Extreme, said: “The customer relationship management tools and new games will help give a better experience to our customers and be one more thing that sets us apart from our competitors.”
River City Extreme’s aim is to be the leader in the market and provide value to customers. Lingen and Foss decided Sync was the best system for achieving those goals. It also allows them to run scoring, marketing programmes, POS and back office functions in one system.
Scott Meier, Brunswick product manager for scoring and management, said: “Sync combines advanced scoring features with a powerful suite of centre management and marketing tools, all in one seamlessly integrated system.” He pointed out that the system is the only cloud-based one that integrates what happens on the lanes with marketing and centre operations.
