Velocity Esports in Newport, Kentucky, is working with doctors and the AbleGamers Charity to help gamers with disabilities do what they love more easily.

The monthly programme provides a welcome playing opportunity for gamers with functional limitations, reports WKRC Cincinatti.
The programme utilises equipment devised by doctors and both physical and occupational therapists to make gaming more accessible.
The Cincinatti news outlet asked people involved with the programme to share their thoughts, with resident physician Austin Scott saying that he was "just excited that they can start to do things they enjoy that they felt they couldn’t do anymore."
Danny Meyer, a physical therapist, said that taking people he serves to somewhere that he would hang out "is incredible to see."
Gamer Josh Burdick agreed, expressing that "...it’s made me be able to play every game again that I thought I would never play again" while Deborah Sweeney-Ross, mother to one of the gamers participating in the course, descirbed the programme as "a godsend" and added: "I can’t thank the people involved enough."
The Velocity Esports venue behind the scheme is located within the city's Newport on the Levee dining and entertainment complex.
