The Magnetic Cash debit card system is now in over 20 countries, says the Argentina-based company.
The latest installation of its cashless system is in neighbouring Uruguay, where the FEC Taxco Pool has chosen Magnetic Cash to convert away from coins and bills.
Based in Libertad, Taxco chose the system partially to take away the health risks in handling money, but also because of the many other benefits of a cashless system.
The Magnetic Cash features complete control of the location without having to invest in expensive hardwsare as it can be mounted on netbooks or common desktop computers.
Diego Rodino, owner of Taxco, said: “The new system not only accomplishes our expectations, but also helps us to raise our sales and have better control of the rooms in the venue.”
