According to rumours coming out of Florida, Universal Studios is planning a new theme park for the UK.

The operator has just opened a major park in Beijing, China, and is close to opening its new Orlando experience, Epic Universe, and is now casting its eyes on Britain for its next venture.
Much of the speculation has been on social media but it has emerged that Universal has registered two domains, universalstudiosgreatbritain.com and universalgreatbritain.com.
Universal’s parent company, Comcast, in its quarterly report in October, showed a $271m expenditure "associated with the acquisition of land for potential theme park expansion opportunities" and this is now being linked with the UK prospects.
It has since emerged that a substantial tract of land - around 500 acres - has been purchased by the company in Bedford and Comcast has also acquired a British construction company, Cloud Wing UK.
