Universal Parks and Resorts will be opening a new theme park specifically for families and toddlers.
Incorporating much-loved Universal IP such as Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda, Minions, Where's Wally and more, this new, family-friendly park will be situated in the Texan city of Frisco.
Mayor of Frisco, Jeff Cheney, told Fox 4 News: “Frisco is one of the fastest growing cities in the US and has been recognized as a great place to plant professional roots and raise a family.
“This new Universal concept will continue to enhance our tax base, expand employment opportunities and bring even more fun to Frisco benefiting our residents, businesses, and visitors.”
An approximate opening date for the planned 97-acre park has not yet been announced.
