According to the China Daily, officials in Tongzhou have said that the main structure is now complete and the rides will be installed by the close of this year.

The park is part of a resort that will feature two hotels and a CityWalk with a canal system connecting them with the theme park; similar to the one at the Universal park in Orlando, Florida that will be in action at the end of this year.

The CityWalk section of the development will contain a range of shops and eating establishments while the park itself will have five sections, each separately themed. They will consist of the Transformers’ Metrobase, Jurassic World Isla Nublar, Kung Fu Panda Land of Awesomeness, Minion Land and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
