The British contingent was noticeable as the IAAPA show opened its doors at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando yesterday.

Manufacturers, distributors and operators of all types of amusement equipment from the UK made up a sizeable proportion of the show floor and its footfall.
One of the UK industry’s leading figures, Paul Williams of Sega Amusements Internationa in London, said: “You will find larger British operators here as well as the suppliers.
"They cannot afford not to be here as so many of the international developers deliberately target IAAPA as the launchpad for whatever they have that’s new.
“If you can only make one international trade show in a year, then this is the one you are most likely to choose.”
