British amusement arcades, FECs and adult gaming centres have been invited to close their doors for a day as a mark of respect for the late HRH Queen Elizabeth II.

Trade association BACTA said in a statement, from president Greg Wood, that the 24-hour shutdown was voluntary and to be decided by the operators, while BACTA itself was dropping activities on social media for the period and from direct lobbying activities.
A period of mourning will be observed for the next ten days.
