The highlight, the company said, was the Asphalt Moto Blitz, the latest addition to the Asphalt 9 series, which allows players to hop onto high-performance super bikes and race through exotic real-world locations.

Asphalt 9 VR also made its IAAPA debut, taking the racing simulator to the next level of realism with interior cockpit views of the world’s top supercars immersing guests in the action, and new play modes, including trying to evade the authorities in Hunted Mode.

Other new games showcased by LAI included Dragon's Bane, the dragon and fantasy-themed coin pusher, which has a mix of analogue and digital gameplay, and Cosmic Tower, the alien-themed coin pusher for two players, with a huge tower with levels that rotate.

A further new game featured by LAI at the show was Air Strike, the competitive flying game for two players, which takes them on a journey through fantastical worlds as they battle monsters and villains. Operators appreciated that the game can be run as amusement only or with tickets.
