The promised major new announcement from dark rides specialist Triotech came on the first morning of IAAPA.

The interactive attractions company has joined forces to begin work on a major project with Lotte World, the big theme park company from South Korea.
Battlegrounds World Agent will open at the Seoul park in spring, 2023, said the two companies in an announcement. It will be a walk-through construction with three zones, each containing a distinct attraction involving interactivity, immersion, motion and projection mapping.
The theme will be PUBG, the already familiar Battlegrounds from Krafton IP. It will take guests 16 at a time through an immersive setting with a storyline that is well-known to game players.
It will cover 750sq. m in floor area, and will be immediately familiar to fans of the game, recognising the PUBG universe. They board a plane to join a battle on the island of Erangel, crash-land, and the survivors work together against the threats and enemies.
