Apple Industries’ latest photo booth, the Face Place Scene Machine, has been nominated as a semi-finalist for this year’s Amusement Expo’s AMOA Innovator Award program.
The award, which has been running since 2001, will be presented during this week’s Amusement Expo in Las Vegas.
The Face Place Scene Machine is a green-screen enabled photo booth that incorporates chroma key compositing, the same technology used in the movie and special effects industry, to place users into a selected scene.
Apple CEO, Allen Weisberg, said: “It is always an honour to be acknowledged by an industry leader like AMOA.
“We believe the Face Place Scene Machine embodies the spirit of the Innovator Award, an exciting new technology that will change the way photo booths are used,” he added.
The Scene Machine will be on display at stand 813 at the Amusement Expo this week.
