Free entrance to the pier at Weston-super-Mare in the UK is now available to another 70,000-plus households in the area, following a decision by the pier company.
In what it calls "a major expansion" of its My Grand Pier Card, locals can access the pier for nothing from May 26.
This is developed around postcodes and the expansion brings in another 72,800 homes to bring the total to 178,900. The free access comes with a range of discounts and some exclusive offers.
