The UK industry continues to follow its traditional path of generosity, with Bacta’s support for worthwhile causes being channelled through its Charitable Trust for many years, currently headed by chairman Steve Hawkins.
A report by the association this week outlining recent fundraising activities shows that the Funstation VIP Day in aid of preferred charity Rays of Sunshine, held at the company’s Milton Keynes venue, raised £5,000.
The annual Park Avenue Open Day in London, during June, hosted jointly by Electrocoin and UDC, raised £6,000 and the association’s Summer Ball at Forest of Arden resulted in a £20,000 sum to mark the association’s 50th anniversary.
