Tenby in South Wales was named the number one UK resort for best amusement locations in a Holiday Entertainment Index released by online betting guide OLBG.

Tenby scored 7.71 out of 10 in the index after an extensive list of criteria had been examined, including how many pubs it has per 1,000 people, how many feature live music, number of restaurants and quality of beaches.
Second came St Ives in Cornwall, followed by Lyme Regis in Dorset and then New Brighton.
In terms of the number of arcades on its seafront, Great Yarmouth came out on top with 16, Bridlington and Blackpool both have 14, followed by Southend-on-Sea with 12 and Scarborough with 10.
