Switch Bowling has described its second Switch Challenge bowling tournament held in France as a “roaring success.”
2011 saw the opening of a flagship Switch bowling centre in Alsace, France. Featuring 28 lanes, Bowling du Trefle features the company’s latest equipment and a sophisticated lighting and sound system throughout. In addition to the bowling lanes, the venue offers a 14-table billiards area, a restaurant and a meeting room.
Between July 1 and July 7, the location played host to bowlers competing in the Switch Challenge, which had a top prize of €2,000 and a total prize pot of €10,000.
“The tournament went ahead without a hitch and was a roaring success among competitors and spectators alike,” said Cynthia Winterhalter, international marketing director at Switch. “Switch very much looks forward to congratulating next year’s participants and encourages the organisers to keep doing such a fantastic job.
