A brand new attraction combining mini-golf and escape rooms has opened in San Francisco, California, US.

Located in the city’s Marina district at the Palace of Fine Arts, Lollyland is a sweet-themed experience that says it “seamlessly blends the whimsy of mini-golf with the cerebral challenges of escape rooms.”
In the attraction, players travel through a candy wonderland featuring oversized lollipops, gumdrops and deserts. It features 10 different experiences featuring puzzles and challenges inspired by classic games like skeeball and tic-tac-toe. On their way through the course, players aim for gold, silver and bronze medals, while collection clues to unlock Cand-e’s Clubhouse and solve the final puzzle.
The game features a tech-infused putter and ball, helping teams to navigate holes and providing individualised feedback after every putt.
Lollyland has been created by Palace Games, which has a number of other immersive attractions across the US.
Chris Alden, founder and CEO at Palace Games, said: “Lollyland is not just a mini-golf course; it's a fusion of physical play, mental engagement and advanced technology.
"We wanted to create a space where players of all ages can escape reality, immerse themselves in a fantastical world and experience a blend of physical and mind games.
“San Francisco has seen its share of tough times over the last few years, and our mission is to bring fun and joy back to the city we all know and love.”
