Witnesses told media outlets how several people fell to the ground in the accident.

The Grona Lund website states the accident happened when “the front part of the train somehow partly derailed, and the train stopped in the middle of the ride at between six and eight metres on height.”

The park says will initiate a full technical investigation into the incident and will assist the police in their investigation.

The park’s website states that the steel-tracked Jetline roller coaster reaches a speed of up to 56mph and a height of 30m, and is ridden by more than one million visitors each year.
