The centre of Wakefield in Yorkshire, UK, could have new social, leisure and entertainment options as a result of a public appeal for ideas by the local council.

The survey, reports the Wakefield Express, has been launched by the council so that residents can share their ideas for the city, with ideas put forward to include tenpin bowling, crazy golf and soft play.
The survey is being conducted by Strategic Leisure on behalf of the council and offers all residents the opportunity to share their thoughts and ideas on what encourages them to spend more time in the city.
