The Global Draw has secured sole supply agreements with independent UK bookmakers Chisholm Bookmakers and Corbettsports for the provision of B2/B3 gaming cabinets and content.
The deal with Chisholm is for the extension of an existing supply agreement which will see The Global Draw provide gaming solutions to all 50 of its shops in the north east of England and north and east Yorkshire until 2014.
Managing director Howard Chisholm said: “Gaming machines are an essential part of the overall product offer within our shops and something our customers value and enjoy. It matters to us to have access to the best performing equipment and content and The Global Draw delivers on both counts.”
The Global Draw first began supplying gaming machines to Corbettsports in April this year when it acquired Sceptre Leisure’s LBO business. Now a sole supply contract has been negotiated which covers all Corbettsports betting shops.
Shops will receive Jupiter cabinets which are accessible through The Global Draw’s partnership with Playtech subsidiary Videobet and the rollout is expected to be completed next month.
Corbettsports says the agreement will enable it to widen the reach of a number of current machine promotions running in selected shops.
These include player tournaments and a loyalty card offering the player bonus points every time they play the machines, which they can later redeem for free credits and other prizes.
Managing director Michael Corbett explained: “We have been running trials with our bonus card in nine shops around Chester and a further six in Wrexham and the feedback has been very positive.
“In order for the promotion to really work and gain momentum we have to make it available throughout our estate, so this move to a sole supply arrangement for gaming machines brings benefits for us on a number of levels.”
