Attractions developer Sunkid has released its new SkiStar Mountain Coaster into the Swedish market with an installation in the centre of Stockholm.
The Hammarbybacken SkiStar venue is a ski-resort but now has year-round appeal with the installation of the Sunkid concept. The new location contains a climbing park, a mountain coaster and a ‘mountain tube’, which offer visitors three ways to descend a mountain.
They are conveyed to the top by a drag lift, sitting in their toboggan where they are released to speed downhill for half a kilometre. The lifts are also supplied by Sunkid and its partner, Neveplast, a tubing specialist will supply the location with a plastic track to enable ski-fans to enjoy their spots year-round.
