This year’s annual Northern Showcase event hosted by Crown Leisure attracted visitors from across the country, rather simply those within the local region.
Held at the Pines Hotel in Chorley, Lancashire, on May 8-9, the showcase brought together operators from as far afield as Margate, Kent, and Glasgow.
According to Dean Harding, managing director of Crown Leisure, the products exhibited at this year’s event were stronger than ever.
“This year’s event saw us exhibit more new games than ever,” he told InterGame. “New B3 from Astra, Cat C from Blueprint, Cat D from Barcrest, as well as new redemption games from Sega and a new pusher from Harry Levy.
“The fact that we can provide such a variety of product across AGC, bingo, pub and FEC sectors is why our customers turn out in the strong numbers that we saw this year.”
Crown is already considering dates for the 2014 edition of the showcase to continue building on the success of this year’s event.
