Austria-based sports betting manufacturer Cashpoint has a strong focus for 2011 - the UK and Ireland.

Targeting amusement centres, arcades and bingo halls, aiming to give operators the opportunity to start their own LBO, Cashpoint will take a stand at the EAG Expo, taking place next month, for the first time in order to emphasise the flexibility and unique selling points of its products.

"Since the split away from the show at Earls Court we believe EAG has quickly established itself throughout Europe as the number one show for the coin-op amusement industry and represents the right kind of clientele for what we are looking to achieve within the UK and Ireland," said Cashpoint’s Christoph Greilberger. "The show at Earls Court became too fragmented in our view and the casino side of the show became just as big as the coin-op side, if not bigger. We expect to see a lot of guests from the continent at the EAG Expo but more importantly the show will provide us with a great overview of the UK gaming market and give us the chance to speak to UK operators about our plans face to face - we see a huge amount of potential to cooperate with companies in the coin-op business.

"Our presence in the UK has become stronger over the past 12 months and Cashpoint has become a recognised brand by many operators in the UK market. We are looking to further help adult gaming centre operators enter the LBO sector with our risk-free contract and easy-to-use systems, which we have made more user-friendly and which feature more betting offerings for customers to use. New variants of in-play bets as well as live horse races, virtual races and bets on the Irish lottery will be available on a self-service product terminal in 2011 - a first for the UK market. Our product will allow operators of adult gaming centres to make better use of their longer opening hours compared with the classic bookmaker without any additional assistance or personnel."

New features being introduced by Cashpoint in 2011 will include Power Races, virtual horse and dog races, Live Horses, international horse races, in-play bets on English Premier League and in the form of Xzero, assuming the score is 0:0 at all times, Cashpoint Cup,  live coverage of Carrera slot races, Touch Office touchscreen counter solution, BetOffice+ classic betting slips for quick bets and Power Goals, football action featuring innovative live bets.

Cashpoint will present its full range of products at the EAG Expo, including the Tippomat Evolution. Manufactured to ISO 9001 standards by proven supplier ADP, the Tipomat Evolution offers slim housing with maintenance and technical areas locked separately. It is equipped with a 19ins TFT touchscreen, bank note acceptor, thermal printer, barcode scanner and an additional TFT monitor on the top for displaying odds. The Tipomat Evolution fulfils all the criteria for an operator to get their business started.

Cashpoint’s Media Wall will also be presented at the show, providing a simple all-in-one self-mounting solution. The betting odds and sports information are presented in an elegant design and the modular and expandable units house the entire hardware, hiding all the clutter.

Looking forward, for Cashpoint the EAG Expo is the next step in enhancing its position in the sports betting market in the UK and Ireland, presenting adult gaming centre operators with a new initiative to make the most out of their business.
