One of Australia’s biggest bowling operators is upgrading its systems.

Strike Bowling, owned by Funlab, is installing Brunswick’s Sync Service Kiosks at its newest location in Melbourne.
The new venue features eight lanes and will utilise Brunswick’s Sync scoring and management system.
The kiosks will allow guests to book their own activities, freeing up staff for other tasks.
Players will then be able to utilise the Spark immersive bowling technology to play the game with a theme projected on the lanes.
Ben Wild, chief technology officer at Funlab, said: “We’ve always counted on Brunswick to deliver the highest-quality products, leading-edge technology and exceptional customer service.
“We’re excited about the operational efficiencies and enhanced guest experience that will be made possible by Sync Service Kiosks.”
Scott Meier, Brunswick’s director of software solutions, added: “Guests are used to automation and using kiosks at restaurants, the airport, even the doctor’s office.
“We’ve worked extensively with the Funlab team and other customers to create that same type of service model specifically for the family entertainment space.
“While the service industry will always rely on people, there are many steps in the customer journey that can be automated, allowing staff to do the important work of taking care of guests.”
