Stern Pinball has expanded its Insider Connected platform.
The new features will make it easier for players to access the service, with more than 43,000 users tracking their scores and earning achievements already.
A mobile ID card and Home Team system that will automatically log in home users are part of the new update, with code updates available now for all 18 Stern commercial LCD pinball machines.
Players will be able to save an ID card with their personal QR code to their mobile wallet, which replaces the old system of logging into the service on a smartphone.
Using the new Home Team feature, users’ machines will remember them and allow them to set standard profiles that are always available without needing to scan in. A mode for guests is also included, which will temporarily remember them until they log out or the machine is turned off.
