“The taunting is over! The haunting begins! #WelcomeBack,” read a tweet on pinball manufacturer Stern Pinball’s Twitter feed along with a short video teasing the latest instalment in the classic spooky franchise, just in time for Halloween.
The new title marks the third time the popular IP has been used, following Elvira and the Party Monsters in 1989 and Scared Stiff in 1996.
Designers from the previous two titles, Dennis Nordman and Greg Freres are thought to have been involved in this new outing, but more will be revealed when Stern officially unveils it, possibly at this week’s IAAPA Europe Expo in Paris.
