Players from around the globe gathered to compete at the tournament, which is claimed to be the most competitive pinball tournament in the world.

Held on August 8-11 in Pennsylvania, US, the event saw the crowning of Bowen Kerins as the World Pinball Champion.

“The PAPA World Pinball Championships always focus on using the latest and greatest Stern pinball machines in the tournament and this year was no different,” said Josh Sharpe of the International Flipper Pinball Association. “Players battled across Metallica, AC/DC, Transformers, Tron and Avatar as they attempted to qualify for a shot at the nearly $45,000 in cash and prizes available.”
