The BACTA Summer Ball is due to be held next week - on Friday, June 30 - and according to Essex Leisure’s Steve Hawkins there are just a few places left.

And a great incentive has been provided by Blueprint Operations. It is supplying a fully inclusive hospitality package for six guests in the VIP Lounge at Old Trafford for a Manchester United Champions League fixture in October.

Said Steve: “The VIP Lounge hospitality at Old Trafford is one of the very best experiences in top flight European football and the seats for watching the game are fantastic. Blueprint will provide an all the necessary pre-match support for the fixture and ensure it’s a truly memorable experience for the guests.”

The ball will be held at the Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel and Country Club, which is at Meriden, not far from Birmingham. Steve tells us that it is not necessary for guests to book an entire table at a time.

The hotel does still have some rooms available and Steve and his fellow organisers are still on the look-out for sponsorship and auction prizes. All of it, of course, is to raise money for the BACTA Charitable Trust.

A comedian has been booked and there will also be a live band and DJ to take the entertainment through to midnight. For tickets, sponsorship or anything else, contact Steve at [email protected]
