Spanish access control specialist Vulkan Systems has implemented the ICU Lite biometric security for its newly-launched Hydra model.
ICU Lite comes from Innovative Technology (ITL), the UK-based money controls company and developer of the facial recognition technology that integrates with an ID and fingerprint reader to offer a secure and reliable access control solution.
Jose Garcia Escudero, business development manager at ITL, said: “During the recent Expojoc Gaming Exhibition in Valencia, Vulkan launched its Hydra and Hydra Zone versions, equipped with ICU Lite facial recognition and age estimation, as well as an ID card reader, people flow management, fingerprint biometric detection and integrated management system.
