Wonderverse, an entertainment centre featuring Sony licensed attractions, has opened at the Oak Brook Center in Chicago, Illinois.

The 45,000 sq.ft entertainment centre features attractions inspired by Sony Pictures Entertainment properties such as films, TV series and video games.
Attractions include a Ghostbusters virtual reality academy, in which guests can fight ghosts alongside other trainees armed with proton packs. Another VR ghostbusters attraction sees players racing in the prototype ecto hovercraft in a high-speed race.
The location also includes three escape rooms themed around the game Uncharted which encourages players to solve challenges, complete quests and find hidden treasures. The rooms can be played individually, or as a trio with a connecting storyline.
Other attractions include VR experience Jumanji: Reverse the Curse, Zombieland bumper cars and a Bad Boys themed racing simulator.
The venue has several bars and a restaurant, with one bar named “The Ghost Trap” which will have Ghostbusters theming and referencing.
The venue is free entry, with each attraction pay-to-play with individual pricing. All can be booked in person, or in advance. The location is adult-only after 8pm.
Corporate events, birthday parties and customised events can be booked on request.
