The Soft Brick Company has successfully integrated a play frame at Millets Farm Centre in Frilford, Oxfordshire, UK.
The large farm-themed play frame is spread over four tiers and boasts a four lane cow print slide, a variety of interactive sound features and an extensive role play area with seven different zones.
This installation is called Sprouts Playbarn and was completed in November 2017. Soft Brick’s design combines both play and educational elements – the design team has turned some of the many attractions at Millets into soft play features. For example, the ball pool is themed as a trout lake, there is an interactive orchard, a pick-your-own-veg patch and a maize maze – all based on attractions at Millets Farm.
The centre features a large toddler area, a key focus of the design. The play frame is housed in a purpose-built building that stands in the grounds of Millets Farm Centre. The building itself has been decorated and furnished to create a comfortable and relaxing environment for visitors of all ages.
