A huge snow-themed FEC with a water park on its roof has been opened in Xiangjiang, Hunan, China.
The project has taken six years to complete, but the Xiangjiang Joy City Snow World, is now in operation, reports IndoorSnowNews.
It covers 30,000sq.m. and that makes it the sixth largest indoor snow centre in the world, four of which are now in China.
The new Hunan centre was designed by an Austrian company and the indoor snow park by Canada’s CTC Ice & Snow. It includes a snow playground, skiing, skating and snow sliding over 5,600-plus sq.m It also has a 1,200 square metre ice lake and 13 slides in its snow play area.
The plan is for the attraction to bring in 15 million visitors annually.
