A new immersive dark ride utilising the famous Smurfs IP has been announced.
IMPS, the owner of the Smurfs IP, has teamed up with Mack Rides and Lagotronics Projects to create the Smurfs Gameplay Theater, an interactive dark ride.
The attraction transports visitors through a series of scenes featuring the beloved Smurfs characters. Each vehicle is able to turn on its axis, revealing new scenes and providing a story-driven experience. Scenes are filled with media screens, scenery, props and sound effects.
The ride concept has been designed by Mack Rides in co-operation with Lagotronics Projects and offers a high capacity, small footprint and low maintenance. It is available in three versions: S, M and L, ranging from 398 to 1224 passengers per hour.
