The Vulcania theme park in the French Auvergne has updated its Terre en Colère (Angry Earth) interactive simulator supplied by Belgian company Alterface.
The park is an educational amusement park and museum with a volcano theme, close to Clermont-Ferrand and it installed Alterface’s Salto! show control that empowers attractions with interactivity, driving all light, media, sound, special effects and other show elements.
Alterface is a principal supplier of dark rides and develops detection and shooting systems, gameplay and design and its Salto! show control and ride management system.
At Vulcania, visitors can discover extreme emotions and sensations felt during a tornado, an earthquake, avalanche, an impact from a meteorite or even a lava flow.
Alterface’s Salto! manages the entire show attraction, including all types of output such as shooting , lighting, animatronics and all physical effects. It is already in operation in other global locations such as Legoland Discovery Centres, Maus au Chocolate.
