Family entertainment centres and a multiplex cinema outlet will be included in a new mega-mall planned for Sharjah, Dubai’s neighbouring emirate.
Tilal Properties, a real estate and property developer, unveiled its plans for Tilal Mall as the centrepiece of its new Tilal City development.
The plan calls for construction to begin in mid-2017. The project will cover two million square feet, making it the largest retail property in the emirate.
A 65-hectare park is included in the plan with dedicated event spaces, amphitheatres, pavilions, waterfalls and plazas.
There will also be fitness activities available, including climbing wall, basketball courts, soccer pitches, skatepark and other features.
The proximity of the site to a major highway, the Emirates Road, will encourage visitors from Dubai and other emirates, including Ajman and Umm Al Quwain.
