The Mary Openshaw Memorial Award For Excellence has been awarded to industry veteran Shane Breaks.
The first recipient of the award, named after the long-serving industry journalist, was Eduardo Antoja, president of Euromat, second was Mike Nevin, managing director of Namco Europe and third was Hans Rosenzweig, former president of Euromat.
Breaks entered the amusement industry in 1962 with Streets Automatic Machine Company and has since worked with Rowe International, Atari, RH Belam, Namco, Betson and Benchmark Games.
