In Scotland, Inverness is closer to seeing a tenpin bowling centre opening, now that an alcohol licence has been granted allowing it to sell drinks up to 1am.
A bowling venue, along with an inflatable park, had been set to open at the city’s retail park by Hollywood Bowl as part of a wider entertainment centre at the Inverness Shopping Park.
The inflatable park will be run by Innoflate. The bowling centre will also feature pool tables and an amusement arcade.
The Adventure Golf at Maidstone’s Mote Park is to have an expansion. The work means a delay to the location’s traditional opening but will lead to the Adventure Golf being expanded to 18 holes decorated with a full-sized Jeep and dinosaur theming.
It will now be July before the venue can reopen and the centre’s Sky Trail and climbing wall will also be out of action in that time.
The former Halfords store in Lincoln could be turned into an indoor trampoline park. The building has been empty since November of last year, but Bounce Central has now submitted an application for approval to the local council.
Bounce already has locations in Oldham and in Salford and the venue will also feature soft play.
