The trade fair is primed to welcome 600 exhibitors and 16,000 professional visitors from the outdoor hospitality sector, eager to discover the latest innovations.

It provides an opportunity to plan and prepare for the 2021 season with a special focus on the new health and safety challenges. More than 400 exhibitors are already booked.

Created in 1978, Sett is the trade fair for equipment and technical infrastructure in tourism. Initiated by the Languedoc-Roussillon Outdoor Hospitality Federation, this fair brings together seven other regional partner federations: Midi-Pyrénées, Auvergne, Rhône-Alpes, Corsica, Limousin, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and Bourgogne Franche-Comté.

This internationally recognised fair – 11 per cent of visitors are from outside France – addresses professionals and offers tourism specialists a broad range of services that meet the needs and requirements of the profession.

Last year, there were more than 650 exhibitors in the main key sectors: HoReCa equipment, communication and digital services, games and leisure, pools and wellness, leisure accommodation, green spaces and amenities.

Philippe Robert, president of the Languedoc-Roussillon Outdoor Hospitality Federation, said: “Today our profession can be optimistic as it is strongly mobilised to make summer 2020 a busy season despite a late start. In the current context, Sett 2020 will more than ever help us spot new leading-edge ideas so that outdoor hospitality can adapt and respond to the new challenges it faces, while retaining a high cost-effectiveness.

“Sett 2020 will help make sure the 2021 season is a great one too.”
