One of the world’s biggest names in cashless payment systems for FECs and theme parks is to open an office in Reading, Berkshire, on the outskirts of London, by the end of this year.

Semnox, whose Parafait system is now well established globally, told us at the Orlando IAAPA show that Vinayaka Kamath, who has been with Semnox for 14 years, will head up the new European office based at Reading.
“I will have a whole team there to handle both sales and service for our growing UK and European business,” he said.
Umesh Beloor Prabhy, senior vice-president at the company, commented: “We now have more than 80 installations in the UK alone. Post-Covid the market has begun to open up and there is so much potential in the rest of Europe that we had no hesitation in choosing Greater London as a European headquarters.”
