Sega Amusements Europe has confirmed it will hold a two-day product launch for six new game titles at its offices in Chessington, UK, from September 21 to 22, 2010.

Following positive testing, Sega’s next driving game GRID and Let’s Go Island, the sequel to Let’s Go Jungle, will be the main focus of the showcase alongside a new reel-based redemption game, developed in cooperation with Empire Games, and a single-player ticket coin pusher from Game Concepts.

Sega’s general sales manager Justin Burke told InterGame: "We used to hold product launches quite regularly and they have always worked really well. They have a more personal touch to them and are totally different to exhibitions, you get to spend more time with customers to go through the games. We will also be holding informative seminars to explain the product features."

"These are strong products for the autumn and 2011. Not only do we have a phenomenal driver and a novelty shooting game but we are delighted at our partnership with Empire Games and the arrival of our first ‘reel-based redemption’ game which will bring some exciting new elements and a bit of ‘Sega flavour’ to the genre."

GRID features some of the world’s most desired cars, including Pagani Zonda and the Bugatti Veyron and for the first time in an arcade driver players can inflict real time damage on these licensed brands.

The product launch is an open event, but interest in attending must be registered with Sega first. For more information contact Lester Travasso on +44 (0)208 391 8090 or [email protected]
